The Education System In UK is divided into four main parts:

1) Primary Education

Primary Education begins in the UK at age 5 till age 11. Some primary schools in UK are divided into infant and junior levels.

2) Secondary Education

Secondary Education begins in the UK at age 11 till age 16. primary and secondary education is mandatory after that education is optional. This stage of compulsory education is called “Lower secondary”.

3) Further Education

Once a student finished secondary education they have the option to extend into further education to take their A-levels, BTEC’s or other such qualifications. If students in UK are planning to go to college or university than it is compulsory them to complete their Further Education. Further Education are funded by the government of UK. ​

4) Higher Education

It takes places at Universities/Colleges, after completion of your school. It includes undergraduate and postgraduate study. Most international students will enter directly into the UK Higher Education system, after completing their home country’s equivalent to the UK’s “Further Education”. ​
UK Student Visa applications are processed within 3 weeks after you lodged your applications. You should apply for a visa before 6 months you start your course. Students can also track their visa application by subscribing to the VFS SMS alert Services.
